Literally, the first "inanimate character." This ancient mammal is frozen in ice but manages to get around the block. Cro-Marmot is a marmot frozen in a block of ice. Like Handy, he somehow performs many tasks (such as throwing snowballs) while entirely encased in ice. He is the only Happy Tree Friend who has only died in one episode, which occurred during the prehistoric age when he was not frozen.
